Because All the Best Fun has Rules

This a pretty easy, simple, fun rental… but lets go over the usage rules anyway.

Driving/Extras/Charging

Beach Access Ease:

  • We registered the cart so you can park in the designated parking lots along the beach. You’re welcome! We also installed handles for beach chairs, why carry when you can hang? The back row/seat can fold down to create a platform for your cooler, toys, extras.

Miles Per Hour

  • These golf carts can go 25 miles an hour.

Charging

  • The cart comes with a cord, plug it in all the time. These can technically get 35 hours drive time but why risk it, the more you charge the more you can drive so plug it in between uses. Out all day? No worries, it should be fine but make sure you plug it in over night. Its a lithium battery and loves to be charged, it will shut off when its full so overcharging is not a problem.

Driving with Children

  • Only licensed drivers WITH insurance, can drive the cart. If you have a child that requires a car seat, you must use that car seat. Since this is a licensed, registered street vehicle the same rules as your regular car apply so please buckle up and be safe. Kids in car seats should not go on the last row, lets keep an eye on the littles, after all, we are driving without doors!

Roads to Avoid

  • The Beach:

This vehicle is a licensed, registered, street legal vehicle. I stress, STREET legal, do NOT drive this onto the beach, you will get stuck and we will pass the fine on to get you to get off. The rest of the streets on the island, outside of the Blvd, (please see above), is ready for you! You can get all over the island between a few main roads so dine, beach, joy ride, have a great time.

  • The Circle/Lighthouse:

Please avoid going around the lighthouse, technically it is fine but its traffic gets a bit nuts during the summer and you can get around it so please do.

  • The Atlantic Brigantine Blvd:

You can drive these on every road in Brigantine outside of the Blvd (main road coming off the bridge). So avoid the Atlantic Brigantine Blvd from the circle/lighthouse all the way too the bridge. These babies are staying ON the island, so who needs the bridge anyway!
